As early as 1993, the predecessor of the current TCT Induktionstechnik GmbH was established. The company’s initial focus was on services for the foundry industry, including assembly, repairs, and later, modernization and custom manufacturing based on customer specifications. Since being acquired by extrutec GmbH<\/a> in early 2021, we have expanded our services to include the production and maintenance of inductive heating systems. Our central production site in Menden, situated on the eastern border of the Ruhr area, provides convenient access to a large customer base. Our extensive production hall features modern manufacturing equipment, including an in-house testing station. extrutec’s innovative inline furnace, a hybrid heating system that combines a gas furnace with an induction furnace, was a game-changer that was awarded a worldwide patent in 2011. By establishing its electric furnace construction and induction technology division in 2019, extrutec expanded its capabilities to offer a purely inductive heating process for a variety of metals. We were committed to sustainability when constructing our energy-efficient, thermally insulated business premises in Menden. A photovoltaic system is being planned to generate clean electricity, which will be used to heat the building and power electric vehicle charging stations installed specifically for this purpose. Furthermore, all our work processes are resource-efficient and environmentally optimized.
